Thread: i can not get flash file to work on site and how to edit fla file

Hello

I am having a problem with flash
I have purchased a file with the end extension .fla
I am having trouble installing it on to my site
also I have not been able to edit the text on the file
I want it changing from yourtext to MUTANT WATCH ES in about a size 22 or 24 font
would any one be able to edit the text for me as i am having some trouble with it and am at my the point of chucking it out the window

Well .. the file has to be editable and has to have been sent to you in a format that is editable.. otherwise you cant change it. You will need to contact the maker to see if they will do it for you.

You need to insert it using the flash icon by dragging it on your page then right click properties and then select the file.. then publish the site to see it.

this is what i have been doing
when i go to search for files after inputting the flash box it only searches for .swf files not ,fla

I have contacted the supplier to see what they can do

Then use the PLUGIN icon for the fla and see if that works. Since you are contacting them.. also have them convert it to swf
