Thread: Mp3 download for customers

Hi, i was just wondering how to make an mp3 file downloadable for visitors.
I've seen the tutorial about using the FTP manager. I've also read in the forum how to do this by;

Uploading the file to my public html folder then,

Creating the downloadable link by putting in my website name / file name.mp3

When i do this and test it, it just pops up a internet explorer page with the file name and up the top and just blank screen everywhere else.

I believe it should pop up a download dialog box where i can either open, save or cancel the file.

Any help is greatly appreciated

I'm guessing my problem has something to do with uploading the file to my public_html folder, as the link is working and not giving me an error message.
