Thread: Embedding special fonts

How can I embed a special font in BV? I used this flash font for my texts but works only on my computer because I have it in the system. How can I embed this font like Arial, Times, Tribuchet, etc.? Thank you

Arial, Times , Trebuchet all will work fine with BV.

Most of the fonts used by me is Arial.

You have to customize your browsers to "User defined".

Thanks for the reply, but what I meant was to embed a special font in my website made from BV. It's a flash font -- FFF Studio

I want it shown/compatible with all browsers and OSs.

IF its within a flash movie .. it should work as it will be contained as an image.

Hi, no it's not a flash movie. Though it's a font family for flash, meaning it's non-scalable font, it works only in small font size.

No. Not all computers will have this font. You could use the font, right click, properties and then save it as an image and use it in that manner, but, again it will be an IMAGE and not text.

Yes I know this, but I don't think this is the absolute solution since there are lots of texts. Will CSS help?

No.. because in order for people to SEE the font, they must have it installed on their computer. If they dont have it on their computer it will not show correctly. You cant force them to HAVE the font.
Example.. say i typed this in chineese. You would only get gibberish unless you had the chineese language pack installed on your browser
