Thread: How do I add jpeg or png to a shape? please help

I'm learning BV very quickly and having lots of luck!

I am on a deadline and must figure this out by August 5th
(tomorrow).

I am using digital s****booking elements and backgrounds that are jpeg and png files. I figured out how to put them into the background.

I now need to figure out how to put them into a shape or some other
function so that I can use them as the "color" on my banners, shapes for buttons etc.

Also, how do you place a photo into an element like a banner.
For example, lets say you have a rectangle going across the top of your home page with your logo on one side of the rectangle and you want a photo on the other end of the rectangle. How do you make it look like it is inside the rectangle.

Sorry if this isn't clear. Also, I have watched every tutorial and read the forum way too much....so I am trying to learn on my own. I just need a little help.

HI,

BV accepts the use of Jpg and Png images without any problem.

Use the Image Tool on the top tool bar, to import an image.

Use a Shape Tool on the top toolbar, to make a shape.

Just drag the image onto the shape and resize it perfectly to the area you want to place it.

Note. Resize your images first to suit the size of your header. You cant use a large image and drag it down to size as the large image will contain a lot of pixels and takes a longer time to load.

There are also freebies in VodaTemplate for you to download.

i just tryed that !!! but i cant drag the image into the shape !!!!!!!! :(

what u have to do is just open a shape !! NO IMAGE IMPORTING FIRST !!! :(

1. then double click on the shape !!!
2. where it sas gradiant click on it!!
3. here choose image !
4. when u have loaded the image choose streched in the next drop menue below dont use tiled if u dont need it !!

and as zuriatman said please be sure ur images are small sized !!
