Thread: Iframes bad for SEO?

I use iframes in a way that I learned here somewhere but cant remember where. Anyway, you use the iframe over all your pages as header and footer so you can make any changes to one page and not have to change all your pages etc..

Does using this hurt the way google sees your site? In other words can all your pages still get noticed (ranked) this way?

Yes it hurts because the SE doesnt SEE the other pages. Only way it can is if you sitemap them and I dont thnk the sitemap sees them either. It only sees the frame.
