Thread: Adding hit counter, shows as html?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to add a hit counter, taking advice from a previous link - cutting and pasting from http://www.website-hit-counters.com/ and trying to paste onto my blueVoda index page, but the counter just shows up as html code.
Any ideas?

well my suggestion would be not to use a hit counter, but if you have to why dont you post what you have done so we can see why you are having your problem.
