Default allowing visitors to download documents

Hi All, how do i allow my website visitors to download documents? I know I have to upload the document to cpanel, but i don't know how to do it, or which folder to upload it to, and then how to make the document actually available and "clickable" on my site. if there's a video on this, that would be great. thanks in advance!

In public_html/ create a folder and name it download.

Zip the folder or file that you want your visitors to download and use BlueFTP to upload to your download folder.

Or use Legacy File Manager in cPanel to upload to your download folder.

The zip file or folder has to be named. Make it short and simple.

If the file is named "demo" the link to the zip file will be http://www.yourdomain/download/demo.exe

When the above url is entered in any browser, the download will be activated.
