    Default Headers and footers?

    Hi everyone,

Just wondered if we are able to create stagnant headers and/or footers.

I'm thinking you would have to use the iFrame feature of BV but that seems like a lot of work considering for each page on your site you would need to link the iFrame back to a separate page with the actual content on it (if that makes sense??).

Or possibly using a HTML box with the link back to the 'menu' page (as per NavalDesign instructions) but adding HTML code to keep it stagnant?

Is there a simple way to do this?

    Cheers

Once you have set up Navals .php way of doing pages, it saves absolutely hours of work. Slightly differant info here.

Yes Navals way saves a huge amount of time. Same information (basically) on the link you gave me.

Not sure if you were trying to answer my question with that link but it doesn't really answer my question. I have already done the HTML boxes but want I want to do is keep the header/menu in place so that whilst I scroll down to the bottom of a website page, the menu/header will always be visiable, even if the page height is 1500.

Make sense? I saw it on another website somewhere and now I cant remember where.

Think its down to the iframe route if i am understanding you correctly.
Another alternative is ccs, but will involve quite a bit of coding.

    Hi Collectors

    Thanks for the link.

I have created a header and menu bar (saved as "menu") separate to my 'home page' which has the HTML box with the code to link to the "menu" page as per Navals instructions.

So if I use the CSS code you directed me to, where do I copy and paste it into?

Directly into the HTML box on "home page"?
    or
    Page Properties on "home" page"?
    or
    Page Properties on "menu" page?

    Thanks for your help.
