hi, if some one signs the guestbook, the persons name and country are visible on the guestbook permanenlty. how do i edit this or stop it?

the main aim behaind using the guestbook is to build a list, i want the people who sign the book not to be seen by everyone.

You can't change the guestbook entries, this is why guestbooks exist, so one can sign it.

If your only purpose is to create a list, use a signup form.
