Thread: Need visiters to be able to upload large files to our website

Our business deals with company logos, graphics, pictures, artwork. Our customers are sending to us these files on a daily basis. When the files are too big to send via email we need the ability for a customer to log on to a password protected webpage on our site and upload their files. Can anybody tell me how to do this. I search the forums and found nothing.

Thanks for that script. Now I have a real dumb question. When I add the upload button for the password protected page and I publish, it allows someone to browse for the file and select it but there is no enter button for the file to then upload to my site? I feel the answer to this question is going to make me feel like a newbie.

Well its not as simple as plonking the 'file browser' on the page. You will have to create a form to include this feature, along with any other details you want to capture, such as 'name' or 'telephone number' etc as well as a 'submit' button. When that button has been clicked the file will be uploaded to your server.
