Smile cropped to full size images in lightbox

Is there a way that I can have cropped or close ups of my images in the lightbox that then lead to the full size images? This website shows a good example - http://www.charlielangtonart.com/Equine_paintings.html

    Would really appreciate some help.

Yes that is the light box feature in BV. Simply crop your images to the size you want them to show once enlarged, it will create the thumb nails for you.

Yes, but how can I have cropped versions ie close ups that then open out on to the full size image before I cropped it? As seen on http://www.charlielangtonart.com/Equine_drawing.html

You can only have a minature size thumbnail.

The process in lightbox has been automated.

You can however place a cropped image on your webpage and then hyperlink it to a larger image.

All the larger images can be placed in a folder in public_html and named or numbered in sequence.

All the large images need to be uploaded to the above folder using your FTP or from your cPanel.

Having looked I don't think the Light Box feature in BV has a facility where you can add a thumbnail (or close up as you call it) and a full size image. As mentioned before one image is used and a resized version of it is used as a thumbnail, which isn't the best because although the thumbnail is smaller it is still heavy in kb's.

I did notice the developers url on the lightbox feature, perhaps you can find some helpful info there http://www.lokeshdhakar.com/projects/lightbox/

    All the best

....you may be interested in this as a possible alternative........scroll down to "Herat" & see what I mean (you can always make the "enlarged" shot as big as you like)
Never measure the height of the mountain you're climbing. At the summit, look back and see how small it really is!
