    Question Quesion re finding Colours

Hi there, I need to import 6 strips of colour into my homepage and wondered if there is anywhere I can go in order to find and download the exact shades I'm looking for?

At the moment I'm using google image searh to try and find the exact colours I'm looking for but they aren/t quite there.

Any idea as to a website I can go to and browse and find the exact colours I'm looking for?

    Cheers

    Thanks!

Chris, I now know the HEX colours I need to import into my page, but how using that software do I save each colour and upload it to my site?

If you know the hex colors - why would you need to download them - you can use the voda tools and make them?

Sorry ,I might not be making myself clear.

Using the tools as advised abov, I now know the hex colour code of each of the 6 colours I wish to import into my homepage.

How do I donload these now?

    Many thanks,

On Voda, click to open a shape. Make it the size you want - line, oval, whatever. Right click on it and make it solid - select the color you want.

Bethers sorry this is really getting confusing.

I have 6 colours (and now I know the hex values of the colours I wish to import onto my homepage)

The homepage will simply be 6 strips of colour going diagonally down the homepage.

I have a chart on which the colour is displayed along with the hex values.

What I need to know is how to put/save/download these colours onto the hoemapge?

    Thanks,

As an example I would like a strip of colour (hex value 103C94)

How do I import a strip of that colour onto my homepage?

David, you do NOT need to import it - MAKE it with the shapes tool on BV - to be exactly the size you want and the color you want. Otherwise, you could make it in a photo program and download that - but I think this would be so much easier.

For Blue Voda, you'll need the hex values of that code - which you can find here: http://www.trainingtools.com/Resources/Color_Chart/

Right click on the shape - click on properties. Make sure that Fill effects has solid clicked. Click the arrow for colors - go down to custom - click on that - you'll need to get the values and you enter them there - your color will appear - click to "add to custom colors" - go over and click on the color where it appears to the left - then click ok - you will have your shape in the color you want. Now size it however you want for the page - make it background, foreground etc.

I found Color Cop to be the easiest. It's a little tool that you pop open, match the eye dropper to whatever color you want to match and it gives you the RGB exactly with the 3 number. It floats around until you minimize it again.

And the shape tool is best. I'm a candy wrapper and do this all the time...very easy.
