I uninstalled and reinstalled Blue Voda, still the same?

Sounds like some sort of memory problem......
Shut down your computer, run chkdisk and try again.....

David I did, is chkdisk under system files or on load up?

programs>accessories>system tools (windows)

I am running win98 se

there is no chkdisk, there is only scan disk under system tools

is there another way to refresh the memory?

run your scan disk first....

Have you done a backup recently ??

lol, I never do back ups

the scan disk will not solve this...I did a whole system scan using the integrated northon's system works tools, still the same

today I just reinstalled fresh windows and this is happening, very weird.

Do a system restore to yesterday's settings and see if that clears it up.

If you have 256 of Ram and half decent hard drive. Install windows XP and get rid of all the trouble associated with windows 98.

If you wanna get to the bottom of this, try this site. Halfway down there's an explantion of your error.

I've tried everything you can think of and still gives me this error, aaarrrrrrgh........ it starts to get annoying, cant work on my projects:(

Even though BV can run on Windows98 under the best set of circumstances,
it is not recommended BV has technology in it that did not exist when win98
came around....Microsoft recalled win98 se from the market because it was to
unstable.

I suggest you go to one of download sites and get yourself registry repair
software...Your registry could possibly be corrupted.

I did using northon's system works, optimised the registry with clean sweep, (which registry rapair do you recommend?)

This problem occured after a new installation of win98se

I never had this problem in the past, something has changed, is it coming from the software or from the system?

this win98 se has never given me any problems untill now, but if I need to upgrade to the latest version just cause of BV, why not

wow finally this one is solved...I decided to be generous and share what worked, in case other members experience the same problem.....

frankly, after updating the Win98 SE system with The .NET Framework, BV worked perfectly and I was able to insert text with no problems, the page faults disappeared.
