Default how to create a blocked text area?

Hi!
i have a trouble in creating a blocked text area:
if i create a text area, and i fill it up with my text, when i see the preview, i notice that
the text field is editable!
my goal is to create a text area that could be readable only!and of course with scrollbars:
i don't want to show the entire text, i want the people to use scrollbars [the text is quite long,
and if i show the entire text i would set a very small size for the text...]
does anybody know how to solve my problem?
THANX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[sorry for my obsolete english...!!!]

Use an iframe if you just want the scroll feature.

But if this is text you want everyone to read - they'll usually skip past those in the boxes with it's own scroll bar. Can't you break it up and make it more interesting - or keep in on a long page?

Now, if you're talking about terms of service types of stuff - then, those iframes work great. But, again, most people don't read them -which is another reason the sites don't want to give them more space than necessary.

iframes are the inline frames?
because i've tryed to use them but they don't work....: i don't know where to put the text.
these are the onlyone options for the inline frames:

- name
- URL
- Scrollbars
- alternate text

i'm not a 'pro' in buildin' web pages...i'm a newcomer...

Hi, you create a separate page for your text (pop all your text in the top left corner. Then publish this page. (This part is now finished)
Now create a new page with an iframe on & place the url of the page you just published in the iframe url field.
Press preview.
