Default This is what I would like to do...

I'd like to make a website where people can visit and type text into a box/window on a webpage and then upload the text to my site so everybody can view it.

The image below is from a website where you can do this - can it be done 'exactly' like this in BlueVoda?

hmmm ...

might be where you have placed your post.

But it is not something done with blue voda alone - you would need another program or scripting to go along with this.

You can check www.dynamicdrive.com and see if there is a script available to add this feature to your website.

A couple of things to consider here.

1) If people can freely type in their comments and it gets automatically posted to your website, who knows what you will get? I mean, it might be a spammers playground .. so this would need monitoring .. much the same as a guestbook or a forum .. with a forum you can implement mods that will take care of this for you, but with a guestbook, unless it is a paid for guestbook, you cannot.

2) I believe I have seen people use a "chat box" sorry, the name is not coming to me right now - you might check for some posts under "Adding other elements" to your webpage.

I've moved your post to "Adding other elements" - others should see this now and make further suggestions to you ...
