I am new to this so please bear with me if I am going over old ground.

On my site I want members to log into their own secure area; ie one member cant see another member's area.

Once there they will be able to upload and store a number of pieces of information including video and documents and then share them with a limited number of other users. (Please note that this sounds as if it could be related to pornography - but it's not)

Can you tell me how I should go about setting it all up please

It would require a PHP script to limit the access, your best bet to getting a ready made one is hotscripts.com
