Automatic thumbnails

Hi.
I wonder if any of you web guru's can help.
On my site I have 4 magazine style sections. Music, Food, Womens Fashion & Mens Fashion.
Now on the main page for each section
(eg http://www.citylifelive.co.uk/food.php ) you will see thumbnails and snippets of text, that link to the page which the article is placed.

What I wanted to do is have these thumbnails & text automatically update when I add a new page.

How can I do this?
