Default Shape tool jagged edges in BV

Hi,
When I use the shape tool in BV to make up a background panel for my pages, I would like to use the template with rounded edges. The problem is that BV produces very jagged edges to the corners of these shapes & doesn’t look very professional. Has anyone been able to solve this & if so how?

Thanks,

Chris.

I'm a busy bee this morning. Lol.
I used Paint Shop or similar to make my shapes and panels, saved them as JPGs and then inserted them as images. Hope that helps.

Chris-

Just a thought- What settings is your video card set at. Mine is an old computer and I am only capable of 32 bit color setting instead of say, a 256 color setting and as such- my BV also has problems with the shape tool in the gradient color area.

All else fails- download fresh copy of BV and re-install.

Andy

Thanks Amanda,
must admit I nearly pinch yours as they looked so good, but alas they have the writing on the image as well.

I will stop being lazy & try the paint shop approach.

Chris.

Hi,
running a Nvidia geforce 6600 gt (ha! had cars with worse names) with 32 bit colour & a 1024 by 768 screen res with a 19" screen. 32bit is the highest this card seems to go.
