Hi everyone,
just started with website designing and found it interesting . I have been using frontpage 2000. i found out that my images dont show when its published. I will appreciate it if i use vodahost, my images can show. or what is the correct waY TO DO THIS . PLEASE HELP YOUR NEW STUDENT .

Check hotlink protection in your CP. Also make sure, connecting with FTP, that the images have been uploaded

I need to build my website in French. There are symbols i need to add like
é, è, ê, à etc. I can insert them on Microsoft Word but not on blue voda. I went on "insert", "Symbol" but i cant find symbols like that. Should i download the symbols? Or is there a problem with my website?

I suppose that you can write them, but then BV transfoms them to something else, correct ?

If so, you need to change the character set in BV and also in your computer , to accept a character set that is suitable for you. Please look at BlueVoda Using Different Languages

A good tip would be to visit any good french site, look at the source code, and see which is the character set used. Then use it also for your BV. However, if you don't see those characters, follow these instructions (from the above thread) :

BlueVoda Is Not a Unicode Program! Because of this you need to set the appropriate character set also on your computer.

If you have bought your computer f.e. in Greece, it will most probably have installed Greek windows XP. In the computer settings, the Greek character set will be the default set both for the keyboard and for the Non Unicode programs.
