  • Publishing question for new-comer.

I have just subscribed to BlueVoda. I created a website and tried publishing it today. However, when I type in the website address, instead of the page appearing, a page entitle 'Index of /' appears with my domain address listed here. Is this normal? Shouldn't my page come up straight away? Am I doing something wrong - I'm a real novice at this! My domain name is www.tutoringinhalifax.com

    Hi Vicky:
You might have done it already, do it again please.
    -Save your page as index
    -Hit the Publish button
-Refresh F5 several times. Good idea to clear cookies, temp files too. On any internet -IE page Tolls>Options>Delete Files offline click ok

    I see this page:
http://www.tutoringinhalifax.com/2nd...20webpage.html is this your home page?

No, that shouln't be the home page.
www.tutoringinhalifax.com is the correct home page, or should be.

The web page currently displayed is the second option down.

How do I get this to be the home page, and not the other options listed?

You named your pages wrong, your index page should not have a capital I
