  • Migrating Navigation Buttons

I have 4 pages for my website, and I cannot get the navigation buttons to appear correctly labelled on all the pages at the same time. There is always one page with one of the buttons incorrectly named - usually(but not always) to "home". If I republish this page, then another will be messed up in the same way. Is this a known problem? It's behaving very much like a bug. Or can you tell me what to do so that it doesn't happen?

You probably used one page as a template for all the others?
Each navigationbar button has an unique id, but if you simply make a copy of the same file, this id will no longer be unique (because you have two documents with the same navigationbar) and when publishing it will override the old ones.

    Workaround:
    1. Select the navigationbar click copy.
    2. Click paste
    3. You now have two identical navigationbars
    4. Delete the old one.
BlueVoda now has generated unique id's for you navigationbar.
Do this for all your pages.

Thanks Pablo - that was the problem. I couldn't get your fix to work as I understood it - (still using v 7.0). But I deleted the nav buttons, saved the page, then created a new set, and that did it.
