  • Still the same problem

    Hi
I came to the forum about 6 weeks ago with the
    same problem.
    The problem is when I add more text to my websites{6 in all}
and images it doesn't appear were its suppose to be when I click
on preview, example ;text in the header appears at the bottom
of the the web page and its so frustrating, because I can not
add more information to my website. Some one in the forum did point out
why not redo the website but that does not solve the problem, wot if I had
20 or 30 websites and wanting to add more information.
All I'am asking is can this problem be solved or is it to do with Bluevoda
    programming.
    Regards
    Johnboy
PS Apart from this problem Bluevoda I highly rate.

    Re: Still the same problem

    Johnboy-

First- what is a URL so we may take a look.
Second- Are you running any additional scripts on the page such as web-ring or anything else.
Third- I recommend that you save all your files in the BV Folder found in your My Documents. Then completely uninstall BV. Then go into Mycomputer>C drive>Programs> and delete the BV folder. Restart the computer. Put your BV folder/files back into your MYDocuments. Now download the latest version of BV and install.

          Start Over

You have added and removed so many things from this poor page it does not know which way is up. Instead of spending tons of time and effort trying to fix a page that has code conflicts, the easiest this to do is to start over.

          1) Open a blank page.
          2) Add your header ( Add it as a image according to the tutorials)
          3) Publish to see what it looks like.
          4) If you are happy.
          5) Keep adding one element at time and save, publish & inspect between adding elements.

This way you will have complete control over the design process and if something messes up, you will be able to pin point it where and when.
