  • Site unable to view in firefox properly, advice needed.

My partner may have posted something similar yesterday, so sorry if this question is somewhere else in the forums.

The problem I am having is that people keep telling me I cannot view in firefox, as you can see from this conversation on another forum I frequent i am getting mixed messages as to if I can solve the problem or not.

Any advice as to if I can fix this problem would be great, if the answer the support staff have given me will work then I will have to find someone to fix the problem as my skills are very limited.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

    Regards Paul

I answered this for you in another thread you had going about it yesterday. Yes, you have some minor overlapping in firefox. The only way you can fix this is to open the site in both windows (ie and firefox) and open your pages in BV - make the minor adjustments of moving the elements a tad until the overlap disappears in firefox - and voila - it will be fine. I recommend people do this with ALL their websites - every page - as Firefox reads the absolutes slightly differently.

Bether's is the correct advise. The problem is that Firefox has a slightly different line spacing than IE. When the text is short, no one will notice, as the difference is very small. In long pages, as yours, the difference goes on growing an growing, thus causing overlaps.
