Duplicating .index page

i designed a home page, saved it as index. I can't figure out how to duplicate other web pages to have the same background, layout, logos etc, as the home page for uniformity.

the text and body info will be different, thats easy enough to change once i have say five pages all looking the same..

ok..maybe i should reword the question for clarity.

how do i make all my webpages have the same format, toolbars, templates, logos, etc. without building them all, one by one, from scratch?

Build one .... and save it as your template ... and every page you begin thereafter begins with this template and saving it as a new page name, this way you will not overwrite your template, and well if by chance you did, then you would have to remove the content you inserted for the new page, and save it again as template ... this is a very good idea for you to do, one of the biggest reasons is your page loading time will be good, as when the first page is opened it is already cached in the viewers browser and will not have to reopen again, only the new content on the page ....

page widths '800 ... length not as important ... remember to tick center in browser ... apply a background image or colour and you will look fabulous on everyones screens regardless of their viewing resolution ...
