  • Editing a template for multiple pages

I am creating my first site ever. I've created a template for the pages, but as I go along, I keep making changes. I've got 8 pages, and If I think of something new for the template, I have to change all 8 pages. Is there a way to have a base template that, if I change something on it, will propigate to all the pages?

    Thanks

    Chuck

Or you can just make all the changes to just one page and let that be your template. When you think you are done, you can just Save that page as the other pages in another folder, trying not to override those other pages. Then you can get the text relevant to whatever page you just saved.

The only other option is the single menu for all pages, which you can find in the Tricks section of this forum, by NavalDesigns. I know it's good for menus and footers...not sure about other stuff.

I have also used this feature, following instructions carefully. I have created a test page, the menu is in top left corner on this link. The menu php has also been published.

Could I perhaps accesidentilay deleted a wrong file from my public_html folder? What files must be their by default?
            Bless you
