Publishing completely redesigned site

I will be publishing a completely redesigned site that was hosted by a different company. My question is not about transferring to VodaHost. I want to know what happens to my old site's pages when I publish the new site.
Will the old pages be replaced if the URL is the same?
If the URL is different will the old pages still exist? If so how do I delete the old pages?

Hi ricosoma,

Since your old and new are designed differently, I would suggest you delete all the old files and start afresh.

U can use Blue FTP. Connect and delete the files. Sometimes U may encounter instances when the file cannot be deleted.

Open your BlueVoda, at the bottom of the page there is a horizontal menu bar which will connect U directly to your Cpanel. U can verify and delete the problem files using your File Manager.

When U are done, publish your new website files. This then becomes a new
publication which should not give U any problem or conflicts.

If U are using a different hosting account and a new domain, there should not be any problem. U cant use the same domain with a different host.
