  • Pics of dragons hatching

    Okay, pics as requested!

The first was taken about 1pm, the second and third at 5pm, and the others 8am the next morning! They are now running all over the incubator!

Not the best pics as I was working without flash as I didn't want to scare the little ones. From nose to tail they are 3 - 4 inches long.

Well Trish, oh my, look at that .. isn't that wonderful, the egg shells look really rubbery now .. what do they do with the shells, do they eat them or do you just remove them?

This is fantastic, omg, you are going to have so many of them, will you be able to sell that many? What a riot, all these running around ..

What a great job you've done ... can't wait to see them all, all in a pile, lmao

P.S. (I think someone moved the baskets around and the first one out really is LadyEye, lmao) .. hee hee

We've only had seven hatch so far, but hopefully the others won't be far behind. They are all fit and healthy, and now in their own vivarium. Will take some more pics later. They were still sleeping it off when I took these, but now they are running and climbing everywhere!

What do they look like when thay grow up? Is it just like giant lizard or komodo?

Quick update - 16 hatched so far, remaining 5 look ready to go too. One slightly deformed - his back legs end at his 'knees' but no one has told him this, and he is scampering about with the rest. Hubby's told Michael he can keep him!

One pet shop already offered to buy the 20 from me!
