i would like to know how to use outside software to make a cool media gallery and use it on my BV webpage, they say it is in ftp format.

how can i create a gallery using this software and use it on my webpage?

They all usually come with installation instructions, so have a look there or post which you are going to use and someone could have a look and give you a bit more to help ...
