    Re: Remove a hyperlink

What have you hyperlinked, text or an image? Do you mean you have hyperlinked the wrong word or sent it to the wrong page?

If you have hyperlinked an image just right click into properties and click on the link tab and change the link there. If it is text I am not sure why you say it is staying put, just highlight the word and click on the hyperlink icon and change the url.

This will do the trick, don't forget to save and republish.

I have made the hyperlink on totally the wrong sentence. I went back to the hyperlink box and removed the link address thinking this would make the hyperlink disappear but the word is still showing as a link, underlined and diff colour???

Maggie, Just delete the word/sentence then and re-type it in, this will solve the problem. On the colour thing, if you want a different colour in the future for anything you link you can set your own.
