  • Placing page in directory

I am trying to create a password protected page. I created a new directory in the file manager and added a user name and password, but I dont know how to get the page I want to protect in this directory. Thanks for your help.

I was able to add page to new directory.

Now I have a question about publishing. Where do I publish my new page and what is the URL format that I will type in browser to get to page. Im thinking that the standard www.domain.com/protected page will not work because it is in another directory.

    Re: Placing page in directory

    Hi,

I belive that the correct place for you to publish it, is inside the password protected directory, because if you use public_html, every visitor of your site will be abble to see it.

Here you have a LINK TO SOME HELP.

Basicly, you publish to public_html/your password protected directory

    Hope it helps you,
