  • Firefox vs. IE

    Hi Everybody,

What does it take to make the site work on both IE and Firefox browsers?
    To some extent...

    Thanks,

It's really hard. Because to make the website look good in IE you need to make a ****py code because that's how IE reads code.. all messy and stuff.

And then you got FireFox that loves clean and simple coding. BlueVoda on the other hand though has a very clean code which allows you to have your website working in all browsers.
    Best regards,

You simply allow some spacing for both views. Sometimes you cant correct all errors no matter how you publish or do things. You simply try to do the best you can for both browsers. Try to avoid filling in every little space and dont space things too closely and this will help somewhat.

        Thank you!

Should I download / install a Firefox browser just to be able to check it out?
        Am I inviting a messing-up by this?

Good idea to do so--I installed FF along side IE7 with no trouble at all. You can easily import your "Favorites" into FF as well.

Hi, FF has 2 little 1 click tools that is really handy to have when looking at other sites. (View image) with IE, you have to save. & (View page info) Gives you the whole pages break down, from images to meta data.
