What's the difference?

Hey i just received my e-mail with all my details, passwords etc... I got my domain name from crazydomains.com.au and would like to know what the difference is between transferring my domain over or just changing the DNS servers.!? What will it mean in regards to uploading my site, how it runs etc etc?

probably a really silly question.... i have many but would love to know before i go ahead and do one or the other!

You could leave your domain where its registered and then point there dns server to point at vodas it will say which dns servers number you have on your welcome email. Or have voda put in for a transfer. If you just point it to voda you can be up and running in a flash. which a transfer will take time maybe a few hours or a day.
