  • How do I publish in a subdomain

    May someone help please.
I have a domaine... earnshawmarketing.com and I would like to keep it for something else.
    So I created a sub domain.... health.earnshawmarketing.com
What is my next step. Do I click publish and where it says folder do I put in public_html/health Because when I did this it came up saying... error 550 can't change directory to public_html/health : no such file to directory
Is there something else I should be doing first.

    Thank you. William
Ps. I am an old codger be gentle

First you would have to create a folder in cpanel under sub domains. Also I would look at the tutorials for creating a sub domain in cpanel.

Subdomains takes 70-80 hours to propogate on the internet.
So you have to be patient and wait it out then try again.

Re: How do I publish in a subdomain

            Hi'
This might seem basic but I found this little check list handy as I got fed up making simple mistakes myself as I have a bad habit of puting CAPITALS in by mistake

If you created your sub domain in cpanel :
Check that the folder actually IS IN your public/html folder using your ftp manager

Then upload an "index.html" file I allways upload a simple page first to test everything. if this file is not there a browser can't open it

If the index file is there
            and the folder is there

            Then all should be well.

did you call your subdomain health.earnshawmarketing.com

              or just health?
