  • Arizona Sustainable,LLC Website Review

    Please review my new website.
I am anxious to better understand "optomizing" my site, so any assistance there will be very appreciated. I understand I can use more graphics and flowery stuff. Right now I'd like to pause and see what you folks think, then I will follow through.
Am I on the right track? This is my first website!

    hhtp://www.azsustainable.com

    Thank you,
    Doug Carroll

Your buttons bounce around from page to page, the font is a bit small in them and for most of them they are right justified. You should center the text in the buttons. You have many pages that are still under construction but overall not a bad start, though I feel you could use a bot more color (IMO). By the way the correct link is

Please help me better understand the issue with the website's buttons. I understand the format issue, but what is meant by they "bounce around from page to page...." Isn't this what they are supposed to do? What is the alternative. Thanks for your assistance here. Also, what is "IMO"?

          IMO = In my Opinion

Navigation buttons are best placed in the same position on every page for continuety....................

Skin kippers and remove as many major bones as possible. Shred the flesh. Place the shredded kipper into a pan with shallots, lemon juice and butter and cook gently.

Remove from the pan and cool. Mix with capers and coriander. Divide mixture into two lightly buttered ramekin molds, or make it in a single larger buttered dish. Mix together the cream and eggs and season well with black pepper and pour over the kipper mix.

Place into a hot water bath and cook in a 350 F oven for around 25-35 minutes (if using individual ramekins but one big dish will probably take an hour to cook) until the custard is set.

Whilst waiting for the custard to set you need to consider what does your website mean to your potential visitors? what is it for? what does it do? What is it's purpose??? it is only half finished for starters, place back in the oven for another few weeks until cooked... It had me for sure.

Once you got that sorted, we can discuss optimisation.
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

Fixed buttons, thanks. Half finished? Yes, probably. Doesn't home page explain what the purpose is? I'll review the text, thanks also. Kippers?

Marincky: I've re-written the home page text. That kipper rhetoric threw me for a moment, now I get it, thanks again. I will keep working on the text to minimize it. I appreciate your communication style!

                      Re: Arizona Sustainable,LLC Website Review

The big font on your pages are great. It is easy to read and even an old age or poor sigted person will be able to read your website... it doesn't put strain on one's eyes.

I think your website will look better if you centre it. The wide open space on the right hand side is not so nice. It lets your site look empty.

The color scheme is great. Soft and calming on the visitors.

Thank you both very much. The page centering information was a very real anxiety relaxer! Check out the first few pages of the website (http://www.azsustainable.com) now to see what a great help you have both been to me. I thank you very much!

Hi, your page maybe at 900 wide in the properties area, but you haven't started your page from the left & you have items on the page well over 900 in size. IE: the header image. 900px × 160px is (scaled to 1080px × 160px)
                            Regards Chris.
