  • .exe file

I have a .exe file that I need to incorporate into my web site in order to send my customers an email with instructions & a link to download and run the software.

I have looked at the file upload, as states in other posts, but it does not seem to do anything, only for me to put a name in it.

Please advise me on how to incorporate my software into my webpage

    Re: .exe file

What do you mean it doesn't seem to do anything. When you upload a file is basically the same as a webpage, only the server tells your browser to open the webpage instead of downloading it. If you upload the .exe to your public_html or a sub-directory, you just have to place a link in the email to the location of the .exe as if it were a webpage.

Do you use a Password Protected Directory? Need a way to allow users to make their own account, try my .htaccess Login Script

      Re: .exe file

Thank you for your advise. I am trying to create my web site prior to registering with Blue Voda. From what you say, it appears that I cannot put it on the web site before I register and pay.
      Thanks again for your advise.
