Linking index page to a second page

1. On my index page I Select and Highlight: The power of poetry to...
2. Click the Link icon
3 Choose http://
4. Type the URL: www.ourlamnp.com/poems.html
5. For Target: I Select: _blank
6. Click OK
7. Click The power of poetry to...but it does not open on the Poems page
8. Nothing happens except that the link The power of poetry to...goes blue.

Some guidance please.

Im not even able to pull up your site, what folder did you publish to? Provide a link to your site as well.

And I did not know I had to publish to a folder.
Some enlightenment on that please.

Links will not work until you publish your pages, you will need a hosting account with VodaHost to publish BV pages. You will also need a domain name if you do not have one. If you have all this then watch the videos, they will expalin the process of creating the pages, naming them, publishing, etc.
