  • Linking pages

    Hi,
I am still having trouble linking my pages, they come up as:
The requested URL /www.janeclare.biz/contact me.html was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.janeclare.biz Port 80Could you please tell me what I have done wrong. I am getting a bit frustrated as I have had them all linked before, but when I changed to text menu instead of the navigation bar they don't seem to link up. Regards Jane

    Re: Linking pages

Name your pages properly. No Gaps and all lower case

Then whatever you name your pages, ensure that is what you put in your link.
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

You also need to put your links in correctly. That means use the http:// which is something you are not doing.

            Re: Linking pages

No, this is the link you are putting in:

That's because you are missing off the http.

Go to the page, highlight the word or words you want to link to, click on the link icon. and paste into the link field a url like this

Then go to ALL your pages and remove any that have a gap in their names.
