When I publish, it says 'The attempt to connect the server failed'. Why?

For some reason this happens. I believe I have set everything up fine, but it just wont let me publish? By the way, this will be my first page I am trying to publish, I'm just wondering why there is no server? Help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using Bluevoda too.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you have selected your server number from the drop down in the list to publish too and entered the correct id and password number.

Also make sure bv is added to your firewall and antivirus software.

Thanks for the advice, it turns out that my firewall wouldn't accept bluevoda.

My website is now up and running.
