Background shading doesn't show

On the site I've just built I added the same grey background shading (vertical gradation) to each page.
In the BV builder it shows up fine on every page, but if you do a browser preview, and when published online, the shading only works on the home page and no others.
Any suggestions please

If you are on about the background behind your Nav buttons, they all look fine. They are grey at the top and blend to white at the bottom.

When you update a page and the page is not displaying as you expect, hit F5 to refresh your browser.

Thanks, but no. I know the nav buttons look fine.

It's the shading behind the main body text in the centre of the pages that's the problem.
It shows white at the top and the grey shading only appears from about two-thirds of the way down the page. As I said, it loooks fine in the BV builder, but not on preview even.
I wondered at one point if it might be the main template covering up the shading so I tried sending the template to the back but that had no effect either.

It's a mystery???
