  • Confused about hyperlinks ...

    richardforsting.com

I'm new ... and confused about hyperlinks. I think I understand the principle. I've made a button and when I double click the button, it opens the properties and I click on "Link" and type in the URL, http://www.richardforsting.com/benefits.html.

So now I went to "File," "New Page" and actually created a new page. When I try to save the page as the above URL it gives me messages that I can't save it because of certain characters. So I saved the page as benefits.bvp

    A few questions -

*How do I publish the new page if it doesn't have the html extension?
*How do I rename the page as http://www.richardforsting.com/benefits.html.
*When I publish the index page again with the new button, do I publish the hyperlinked page separately, or will it sweep all the pages (with images) in at once?
*Can I "practice" my hyperlinks from my index.bvd page?

(I haven't shown the buttons at richardforsting.com yet because I don't want to publish something that doesn't work.)

    Thanks for helping!

1.BV auto save's your page with a bvp& auto converts to html when published
2.Just name you pages as a name only IE: benefits
    3.All pages are published separately.
    4. All your sites internal links wont work until published.
