  • How do I enable OpenSSL in php?

Do anyone know how do I enable OpenSSL in php on my server?

I was installing a open source script called Open Realty and this is what I got:

    - Open-RealtyŽ v.3.0.0 and later, requires "openssl" to be loaded by PHP at your server. Actually you have it DISABLED - contact your Host Support and ask to enable it.

Should I contact vodahost customer support or can I do this myself?

Forgot to add what might help... I did some research on google on this and what I got is that in the php.ini file, I need to:

add extension = "openssl.do" for linux (did not work)

change ;extension=php_openssl.dll to extension=php_openssl.dll (without the semicolon) for windows

Vodahost hosting servers runs on linux according to the info in my control panel. I did even looked in phpinfo() for anything related to openssl and I got nothing. Now, I am do not konw if my server even have openssl. Do they?

No, VH offers no openSSL support, to my knowledge. However, you can submit a support ticket so VH helpo desk answers you.
