  • Forbidden error

I used NOF to build my site. The software crashed & I had to rebuild my site. Today I deleted my old site that was published & am trying to publish my new site but I keep getting FORBIDDEN you don't have access to publish on this server. I can't figure out the problem. I need help!

    Re: Forbidden error

If you are using BlueVoda check that you have selected the correct IP# from the drop down list and that you are using the correct password/username.
Alternatively you still need to make sure you are using the correct IP#, password & username given to you when you signed up for a hosting account.

      Re: Forbidden error

I see that you are on Vodahost 33 server. Make sure that your website has not changed servers in the past year.

        Re: Forbidden error

I am using the correct username & password & am able to login to my cpanel. I'm using the IP given to me in the email sent by Voda. After I publish, I go to my cpanel & all the files seem to be there.
I'm not knowledgable with looking to see what might be wrong

          Re: Forbidden error

I see you have resolved your publishing problem.
A page "name" is what you save your page as.
A page "title" is the text that appears on the browser tab.
A page title is one of the most important areas that Google analyzes.
It is a MUST to have a relevant page to content title.
Your main keyword should be the first word in the title.
Of course, your keyword (s) must also appear in your page text.
This holds true for your meta tags. If you have (i.e.) "jet airplanes"
in your meta tags it will be utterly useless if that term does not also appear in the page content.
