Bg pix not loading?

1. Re-Title your PNG image without using any symbols or spaces .... currently it is poweredhobbies bg (1076 x 1022).png (open it in your photo editor or the PixResizer you can download from VodaHost free and re-name it something more like "powered-hobbies-background.png") * In your specific case, having parentheses and spaces is causing conflicts.

2. in Blue Voda, VIEW >> PAGE PROPERTIES >> Select FORMATTING Tab >> in BACKGROUND are under "Image" use the "Browse" button to select your newly titled and saved PNG image.

3. Click the SAVE icon to re-save the page and then re-publish and refresh your browser so the new (correct) page version loads and is visible.



TIP: To prevent 'tiling' of your background image unevenly (repeating and showing obvious lines that do not match), try re-sizing your properly formatted and titled background image to be at least 1750 pixels wide ... the proportions for depth will automatically change also, which is good, for as a background it will not affect page length or provoke browser scrollers.
As long as you have your background image open in a photo editor to re-title it properly, this would be a perfect time to also make it a 'non-tiling' size ....

Yes, it's looking fine now.

Another "Tip" you might be interested in, so the background stays where it is now at the top even though your page may go deeper than the image ... is this one suggested by Gen. Navaldesign to keep your background image "static" in all cases (so you don't worry about it 'tiling' down the page) >> Make Background 'Static'

well its not actually my BG... the bg is black and the pix is just a pix ... is it tiling?

No .... you are doing it safely by keeping it simple as an image under your page design. Were you to use an image as a true background, you would not be able to also "colorize" the background black as you have done, which as you have done is a cleaner overall look, IMO.

The tips I mentioned above are for instances when strictly using an image as a background.
