Copy & Paste image

Just back to using BV after working with its big cousin WYSIWYG.
Basically trying to copy & paste an image from one page to another - doesn't work - tried CtrlC with CtrlV the usual combination, then tried right click and select Copy and CtrlV - doesn't work and 3 times out of 4 times crashed BV.
Is there a way of doing this - have an image to put into 20+ pages - easier to copy once and paste it in rather than insert it individually.

This was an issue with version 12.0, now solved in version 12.1 . Please upgrade to the latest version.
