  • Spam Assassin and Filters doing nothing against SPAM

I recently changed my emails from POP3 to IMAP so I can use the new MS Surface tablet for email. I'm using Outlook 2010 on my Windows 7 OS laptop as my primary device to access email. Everything works great, except my account is being deluged with SPAM. I have Spam Asssassin enabled, I have gone to the user-level filters, set them up with ridiculously low threshholds for Spam Bar and Spam Count (have them at ++, and 2 respectively). Spam Status is set to grab "Yes". I set the filters to divert SPAM messages to the folder called "junk" and nothing goes there.

I tried disabling spam assassin and re-enabling it. No effect. Still as much SPAM as ever. Please help.
