Thread: Excel files

Hi, is there a way of attaching a link to an excel file which people visiting my website can download? Also, is there an easy way of copying the contents of an excel file (such as tables) onto my website, as when I try and copy them they are all off line and the tables become non-existant. Thanks for your help.

Upload file to ftp and link file from ftp. the other part I cant help you with dont know what the program is.

Ive uploaded the file to FTP but dont know how to link the file from FTP. I've highlighted the text I wish to use as a link, then gone to Link and selected ftp: from the dropdown menu. How do I then search for the file Ive saved in FTP, as when I try to browse it just goes to my hard drive. Thanks for your help.

Its ok, I've figured it out now, thanks for your help. If anyone has any info on how to copy and paste a table from Microsoft Excel and paste it onto your webpage so that it stays exactly the same - ie, all boxes aligned, all colours included etc... I would be very grateful.

You can insert your excel file by going to Insert on the tool bar and then Advanced and Embedded OLE object. This will put your worksheet on your web page.
