Thread: help with email setup

I'm incredibly frustrated.

I'm setting up my email exactly as I've been instructed. But I cannot log onto to the incoming mail server. This is the message I get "Logon to incoming mail server (POP3): Unable to logon to the incoming mail server (POP3)Please verify the settings in the username, password and email fields"
I've tried the email with a + and a @ sign, I've tried the username with and with out a +sequelhomes.com, @sequelhomes.com, :sequelhomes.com etc. The username and passwords that I am entering match exactly what is in the control panel. I even cut and pasted to make sure.

I called the BlueVoda help people but they weren't able to help.

I don't know what else to do!!!!!! Our IT person can't come out until Friday. I can't be without email for that long. Please help!!!!

Here are the settings for outlook>

incomming mail server (pop3) mail.yourdomain.com

outgoing mail server (smtp) mail.yourdomain.com

Server Port Numbers are>

incomming mail server (pop3) 110

outgoing mail server (smtp) 25

Add user name and password.

Apparently it just takes some time to kick in. The next morning my email started working without me changing a thing. Go figure. Strange that no one at Blue Voda knew that, but now we do.
