Hi there When I open a new page there is a dotted line encompassing a box size of 800 x 600. The tutorial indicates that this can be changed. Is this the optinmum size for publishing - i.e. will this 'fill' the screen? Or can I use a wider measure such as 1200 x 600 ?? Thanks Detours ID 62579725 |

The length isn't really a problem - as people are willing to scroll down. However, the width is where you have to make a decision as to whether you will want anyone to have to scroll right to left. Some people still have computers with a width resolution of 800. If you select anything wider than that, these people will have to scroll. It's estimated that still about 20% of users might be at this width. The most prevalent widths today are 1024 and 1280 - so I do recommened you stay under 1024 to keep the majority of users able to see your window without scrolling right to left. Again, if you want no one to have to scroll, you'll have to stay under 800.
