Thread: Photo between text?

Hi,

Is it possible to embed a photo/ picture into some text as in MS Word, so that the text will fill around nicely around that photo. Im using BV btw.

Not as far as I know, just tried and image is placed over the text.
You could arrange the text in such a way to create this look

As Bruce stated, I dont think you can. But you can create test boxes around the image which will look the same- just requires a little more work!

Why cant you put them in a table? You can create it in notepad, frontpage or dreamweaver and copy to BV cant you?

I was just about to post the same question. It's not a problem in HTML to do this simply the image code looks like
<img src="images/ACW_CA.jpg" alt="Classic Adirondack Chair" width="318" height="400" hspace="10" vspace="10" align="right">
The hspace & vspace arguments provide for keeping space around the image and the align="right" puts it to the right.
Using this the top of the image is placed level with the top of the text and if the text length exceeds the length of the image it continues across the bottom underneath the image.
I notice in looking at the code generated by BV it does not have these arguments and even adding them with the edit HTML doesn't help as there is no way to have an element that allows mixing of image/text.
So for now it's tables and juggling the text around.
Unfortunate - something that BV should be capable of - maybe the next release?
