    Default spanish caracters

    Good evening,

Please help me with a problem. Recently I downloaded your software that is very good but there seems to be a problem. As I want to create an english-spanish website y need to introduce spanish caracters like "ñ" or "á". And when I do so they just switch to "n" and "a". I found a similar request at your forum but unfortunately no valid answer. That's a big problem for without those caracters I won't be able to use your software.

    Thank you in advance,
    Dmitry

PD The "symbol" tool doesn't help me either (it's the same)

    Hi there,

The symbol tool should work. Whats happening when you use it?

    Regards
    Teri

EDIT: I have actually just tried it and it worked fine.

You can also use the symbol from your top keyboard (with the digits) and than type the letter like in word.

Hi, have you tried typing in Word & cutting & pasting it into BV. I remember a Swedish member had a similar problem & it seemed to work for him.

    Good luck

You don't need to do that, you can type like in word using the keybord and the symbols in combination with the letters. You may only have to reset the language of your keyboard and computer.

The characters are in the BV menu Insert>Symbol. while you can use the keyboard or the combination alt 164 for ñ, certain browser may not recognize it or the accents (tildes). Most fonts will have the symbols except some in all upper case.
